Is lending club a scam, phone # is 210 401-****

they said i was approved fora loan of $6,000. They put $1,956 in my bank account and ask me to buy $1100 worth of itunes gift cards then in 20 minutes, they will deposit the $6,000 right awas. Is this a scam?

If you receive a suspicious phone call, email, social media, or text message regarding Lending Club, you may contact the Lending Club Member Support at 888-596-3157 to report the issue. They should investigate the issue and take action if needed.

yes..same happened to me..luckily I only lost 50$. They wanted me to to pay an additional 150 afterwards for the transfer of funds..when I said I didn't have that they wanted me to pay $120 to get my $50 back..

  • check your rate on the Lending Club website;
  • choose the offer that works best for you;
  • finish the outline application;
  • confirm your information;
  • get cash to your bank account.

Normally, it takes about 4 days to get a loan. You may be asked to confirm identity, income, employment.

According to the Lending Club Payments section, you can change the date for your next payment only. To do this please contact Lending Club at payments@lendingclub.com or call them at 844-227-5011 at least three days before it’s due. You can also permanently move your due date. To do this please follow these steps:
  • sign in to your account at lendingclub.com/auth/login;
  • in the Payment Due Date section, click Change Due Date;
  • use the drop-down to choose your new monthly due date, and then click Continue;
  • click Got It;
  • review your change, then click Confirm Change.
